Phase I Coordinator

Kaitlyn Avila is a Phase Coordinator for the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. Born in College Station, TX, Kaitlyn graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Anthropology. Kaitlyn started her career in higher education working as an assistant to an academic counselor at Texas A&M University, during her studies. After graduating, Kaitlyn accepted a role as an Academic Counselor with the University of Phoenix, where she found her passion. In the position, Kaitlyn helped guide over 200 students through their academic journey. Helping the students find a work-life balance that suited their lifestyle was a valuable part of her daily life.

Kaitlyn is dedicated to helping students succeed in their academic careers and enjoys getting to know people from across the world.
