Shakira Gray joined the Admissions team as the Records Coordinator at UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine in June 2023. She graduated from UIW in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. During her academic journey, she engaged in various research projects mainly focusing on racial and societal minority experiences in the United States. At that time, she collected data, conducted literary and data analysis, created surveys and assisted with project design and conceptualization.
Upon graduating, Shakira began working at UIW in Admissions, where she managed incoming applications and documents and participated in software testing and troubleshooting for four years. In the future, she aims to pursue a master’s degree in social psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games, reading, making candles, going to concerts, and baking.
