Sally Tobin

Ms. Sally Tobin serves as the program coordinator for the internal medicine residency program at the Texas Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research (TIGMER).

She has worked in higher education for over 20 years and has been with UIW for the past nine years. Prior to her employment at UIWSOM, she was the Administrative Assistant to the Dean for the University of the Incarnate Word Illa Faye School of Nursing. Before moving to San Antonio, Ms. Tobin worked in UT Rio Grande Valley's Office of Internal Audits, in the Office of the President.

Ms. Tobin attended the University of Missouri and the University of Houston, where she studied Surgical Technology because of her passion for being in the OR. Ms. Tobin loved her time working with OB/GYN labor and delivery and enjoyed emergency trauma prior to joining UIWSOM.

Outside of work, Ms. Tobin enjoys spending time with her husband fishing, hunting, and barbecuing on their backyard deck. She loves all animals and seeing wildlife. Ms. Tobin has two adult children, both UT graduates. Hook’em Horns!
