Rachel Pittman, PharmD

Dr. Rachel Pittman is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Clinical and Applied Sciences Education at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. She joined the faculty in November 2019 after working for seven years as a community pharmacist and pharmacy owner. Dr. Pittman earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy and her Master of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas. Prior to pharmacy school, she taught anatomy and physiology for several years at St. Philip's College in San Antonio. Dr. Pittman is grateful for the opportunity to use the knowledge she gained in pharmacy practice to further the education of future osteopathic physicians.
