Dominique Yang-Kim

Assistant Professor Clinical and Applied Science Education

Dr. Yang-Kim obtained her undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York City. She attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara in Northern California and her Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Stanford University. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She is also a board-certified Hospice Medical Director.

During her career, she has worked in primary care, urgent care, and long-term care. She is a hospice medical director who also works with patients on palliative care. She believes in promoting quality and dignity at the end-of life. Dr. Yang-Kim is honored to be a part of the faculty team at UIWSOM.
