Linda Baker-Webber
Willed Body Program Coordinator Clinical and Applied Science Education Email: bakerweb@uiwtx.eduLinda Baker-Webber joined UIWSOM Anatomical Services for the Clinical and Applied Science Education Department as the Willed Body Program Coordinator in 2022. She will be a powerful force in her position utilizing over 40 years of extensive professional customer service experience. Linda contributes her work ethics, striving to be thorough, attention to details and the in-depth look and enhanced knowledge of protocols as the foundation for her success.
Joining UIWSOM, Linda has 15 combined years of experience as UT Health San Antonio Body Donation Program Coordinator and working in the Funeral Home industry. Her experience in these two industries provided her the in-depth look and enhanced knowledge base in the workings of the State Anatomical Board regulations, Texas Bureau of Vital Statistics and Texas Statues Health and Safety Code.
Linda primarily will converse with families, long and short-term medical facilities and funeral homes with an overview of the UIWSOM Willed Body Program. Additional duties include and are not limited to Public Outreach and Public Relations which includes guest speaking, giving presentations, creating and distributing materials targeting groups both inside and outside UIW.
During her 14 years tenure at UT Health San Antonio, Linda received an "Above and Beyond Award", numerous recommendations and performance appraisals as being hard-working, excellent in her interpersonal and customer service skills. Both faculty and donor families noted Linda's willingness to go beyond to accommodate their request and provide timely communication.
Much of Linda's time is devoted to her job, but very much loves spending time with her son, daughter-in-law and "two very precious granddaughters." Relaxing, watching movies and TV programs are also on her list of "Me-Time." In addition to family time, Linda enjoys spending time with her friends.
