Bridget Thackeray, DO

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Bridget Thackeray is an accomplished family physician, certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and residency-trained in family medicine at CHRISTUS Spohn Health System. Dr. Thackeray was part of the founding faculty for TIGMER’s Community-Based Family Medicine Residency Program in collaboration with the University of the Incarnate Word, where she now serves as Program Director. She was instrumental in transforming CommuniCare into an academic campus, where she practices as a lead clinician and Director of Graduate Medical Education. Her practice focuses on Family Medicine, HIV prevention and treatment, Geriatrics, and Weight Loss.  Dr. Thackeray was instrumental in the creation of Apollo Wellness, a concierge patient experience focusing on the prevention and treatment of HIV. Dr. Thackeray looks forward to treating all individuals with the specialized care they need and creating a space of belonging.
