Carlos Camargo Jr. began his academic journey at the University of the Incarnate Word in 2009, employed as a work-study student and eventually a part-time employee for the Audio Visual department. In 2011, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and, shortly after, became a full-time audio visual technician. During this time, Carlos would have a hand in the planning, installing and training of A/V technologies across all of UIW's campuses.
In 2016, Carlos joined the School of Osteopathic Medicine, where he now serves as a Technical Support Specialist for the department of Academic Technology for Health Sciences. He holds an integral role in the operation and troubleshooting of both A/V and computer technologies. In his spare time, Carlos enjoys writing, discovering new music to add to his collection and taking long walks on the sands of Tatooine.
