Austin Glamser, M.D., graduated with his A.B. in neurobiology from Harvard University. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He has been a member of the UIWSOM family since 2018.
Prior to medical school, Austin taught English as a Foreign Language at the secondary level for several years. His current research interests include the history of infectious diseases and the evolution of American public health policy.
In his spare time, Austin enjoys running, swimming, and hiking. His "bucket list goal" is to do a long hike in every US national park. He is currently on number 25 of 63.
