Barry J. Sheridan, DO, ABEM, USA(R) is a SIGS Facilitator at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. He received his bachelor's degree from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1977, and his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at Firelands Community Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio in 1986 and his Emergency Medicine Residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio in 1994. He served on active duty in the USA for 24 years and retired from USA in 2008. He continued to practice Emergency Medicine until 2018 when he retired from Government Service at Brooke Army Medical Center.
