Shakira Gray

Shakira Gray joined the Admissions team as the Records Coordinator at UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine in June 2023. She graduated from UIW in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After graduation, she began working at UIW in the Admissions department. She managed incoming applications and documents and participated in software testing and troubleshooting for four years.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree, Shakira also assisted with various research projects, her favorite topic being discrimination against minorities, specifically African Americans and Mexican Americans. At that time, she collected data, conducted literary and data analysis, created surveys and assisted with project design and conceptualization.

In her spare time, Shakira enjoys playing video games, going to concerts, candle-making and baking. She hopes to assist in making the admissions process as seamless as possible for our future doctors.
