Kimberly DeLaFuente

Kimberly DeLaFuente joined the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine in December 2021 as the Student Affairs Coordinator. She plans, develops, and implements medical education and social programs for learners. She also provides support for the Master of Biomedical Science program which includes planning commencement, orientation, luncheons, and other activities.

Kimberly was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She completed her master's degree in Organizational Leadership at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) and graduated with a dual degree from St. Mary's University with a B.A. in Corporate Finance and Risk Management. Kimberly is currently working toward her doctoral degree in Leadership Studies at OLLU, focusing her dissertation on first generation college students.

She also has over 10 years of experience supporting students in higher education. Kimberly has worked with the McNair Scholars Program at St. Mary's University, the Career Services department at Trinity University, and supported students within the School of Social Work at OLLU. She has a background in finance, marketing, event planning, and experience working with student-led organizations. Kimberly likes staying active with different group fitness classes, enjoys creating artwork, and spending time with her son and two daughters.
