Marisol Salas Rios

Marisol Salas-Rios a native of San Antonio, Texas. She graduated with honors from Texas A&M University-San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Communication and became the first woman in her family to graduate with a bachelor’s degree.

Marisol joined the Admissions team as the Records Coordinator at UIW School of Osteopathic Medicine in September 2022. Her goal is to educate and inspire others about osteopathic medicine and support the medically underserved community in the South Side of San Antonio. 

Marisol is also a graduate student studying communications at UIW and is a member of the Lambda Pi Eta honors society. 

When she isn’t out and about recruiting or studying for her next exam, she enjoys thrift shopping, crafts, reading, watching anime, playing video games and finding the best cafés and eateries in San Antonio with her friends.
