Rohini Mehta

Rohini Mehta, MD is an Assistant Professor with the CASE department at UIWSOM and a board-certified Psychiatrist. She is originally from Northern Virginia, and received her B.Sc. in Pharmacology from McGill University and her medical degree from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Mehta went on to complete her residency training in psychiatry from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Mehta has a passion for medical education and previously served as a medical educator for the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. She is a practicing adult outpatient Psychiatrist and emphasizes the importance of the mind-body connection with her patients. In her free time, Dr. Mehta enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and exploring all that San Antonio has to offer.
