Clinical Experience

This is a longitudinal clinical experience that begins the first week of medical school and continues through Phase II. Learners are assigned a community preceptor and are required to participate in a clinic or health-related setting each week for ½ day. Outcomes include: advanced knowledge of osteopathic principles of patient care, applying classroom knowledge to clinical care, direct participation in health care delivery and increased awareness and understanding of systems-based practice.
