CASE Coordinator Clinical and Applied Science Education

Julie McDevitt joined UIWSOM in October 2026 as the Clinical and Applied Science Education (CASE) Coordinator.

She earned her Bachelor’s in Spanish Language from UT-Austin and her Master’s in Learning & Teaching from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Julie previously worked as a high school Spanish teacher at several Texas high schools, a Clinical Assistant Professor at TAMU-San Antonio’s College of Education and Human Development, and as the Academic Assessment Coordinator and Director of faculty and staff development at Palo Alto College, one of the Alamo Colleges. Julie grew up in Illinois but has been a Texan for almost 40 years.
