Brooks City Base Opens Kennedy Hill

Brooks City Base today formally opened the Kennedy Hill project on the west edge of the City Base, which will be home to the University of the Incarnate Word's new medical school, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

  Brooks City Base Vice Chair Michelle Krupa says it is a major step forward for Brooks, adding a medical school to the list of tenants, which already includes a campus of Texas A&M San Antonio, a hospital, and numerous apartment and retail establishments.

  "This is actually going to be one of the biggest and largest projects that we have so far, opening up our campus to everyone who comes into Brooks," she said.
