Natalie Slater, MD

Clerkship Director

Dr. Natalie Slater is a general pediatrician and currently serves as Associate Professor and Pediatric Clerkship Director in the Office of Clinical Affairs at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine since February 2019. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering with highest honors at the University of Texas at Austin and then earned her Doctor of Medicine degree with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society recognition at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine.

Dr. Slater completed her pediatric residency training through Baylor College of Medicine located at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston before joining the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics as Assistant Professor in the Division of Urgent Care in Galveston. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Slater is a native Texan, born and raised in New Braunfels, and has a special interest in clinical teaching and community outreach.
