Jessica Martinez-Palacios, M.Ed., Raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Jessica loves to be referred to as a "Valley Girl". She graduated from the University of Texas Pan-American with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She then went on to complete her master's degree with two concentrations: Higher Educational Leadership and Administration and E-Learning Technology and Design from Jones International University.

She joined the University of Texas Pan-American as an Instructional Developer Designer where she was the lead trainer and designer for various programs. In addition, she coordinated with faculty in designing and developing online course content and learning environments to ensure continuous improvement of quality courses.

After moving to San Antonio in 2012, Jessica served at the University of the Incarnate Word (Broadway Campus) where she worked with various subject matter experts to create web augmented, blended/hybrid, flip classrooms and online courses. In addition, she was the lead designer in the implementation of the first UIW Main Campus Online and Blended Course Template.

Further at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine, she has worked as an Instructional Designer, Educational Specialist, and now serves as eLearning Specialist and Program Coordinator. She has over 15 years of experience in Adult Education and Instructional Design. She is skilled in Quality Matters, Curriculum/Course Design, Adult Education/Learning Theories, Quality Assurance Standards, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Professional Development and Training. She is married to Conrado Palacios, Jr., and have a daughter named Ella.
