Daniel Grosser, M.D.
Assistant Professor
Daniel Grosser is an Assistant Professor at UIWSOM specializing in pathology. He received an M.D. from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to complete subspecialty training in renal pathology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and genitourinary pathology at Johns Hopkins before returning to Texas, where he worked as a general surgical and renal pathologist at UTHSCSA.
He first caught the teaching bug during his undergraduate years at Oberlin College, where he taught a small class on the works of director David Lynch, while studying biology and physics. He continued to participate in the education of residents and medical students throughout his pathology training and as a practicing pathologist. He is excited to join UIWSOM’s innovative curriculum.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys books, movies, and swing dancing.
