Ann Daniel, DO, FAAP, FACOP

Dr. Ann Daniel is a fifth generation Texan from Houston. She completed her osteopathic medical degree after her post-baccalaureate masters program at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and graduated in 2010 from her dual AOA/AMA pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Dr. Daniel practiced for six years as pediatric hospitalist faculty at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she treated patients and taught medical students, residents and fellows through Baylor College of Medicine. While a hospitalist, she also gained experience as a pediatric generalist in the emergency room and as a pediatric deep sedation provider. She transitioned to primary pediatric care in the community for four years at Pearland Pediatrics and Sports Medicine prior to moving to San Antonio and joining the UIWSOM. She has served on the board of the Texas chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, known as the Texas Pediatric Society.
Dr. Daniel was a founding member of the Catholic Healthcare Professionals of Houston and remains active in the national Catholic Medical Association. She has an interest in pediatric osteopathic manipulative treatment and maintains membership in the cranial academy.
Her husband David is a cardiothoracic surgeon practicing in San Antonio. They have four children and enjoy hiking, reading and gardening.
